Our elderly client, who was in her 90’s, lived in an Assisted Living Facility, which was responsible for taking care of her and ensuring she was safe. Instead, the facility withheld the necessary care and services for her level of need. Consequently, she fell several times, suffering a variety of injuries, including fractured bones and a subdural hematoma. Fortunately, she was able to get out of there and we were able to get her a substantial amount of money to help her live out the rest of her days in comfort.
